Have Faith
Have Faith

Have faith through the process: One of my key phrases I use in conversation is “It will work out, it always does.” When I say this to myself or to others, I’m releasing faith into whatever process is going on. Have faith through your process. With God on your side, it’ll be good.

Faithing it
Faithing it

Faith it until I make it: Even when it’s dark… Even when it’s stormy… Even when it hurts… Even when you feel weak… Even when you don’t understand… Remind yourself that no matter what, I’m faithing it until I make it. Hold on to your faith. For He who promised is faithful. Let’s keep on pushing.

Don’t doubt yourself
Don’t doubt yourself

Why are you doubting yourself?
Is it because you failed that last time?
Maybe it’s because someone made fun of you a long time ago and you’re constantly reminded about it when you’re about to take that step, make that move?
Perhaps you don’t want to disappoint yourself or others.
But bro do you know whose you are?
Like do you not remember what God says about you? What He calls you?
You must’ve forgotten. Let me remind you.
He calls you a warrior. You are meant to fight.
He calls you victorious. You will win.
He calls you chosen, royal, holy and special. He calls you His own.
So I’ll ask you again, why are you doubting yourself?

nothing too hard
nothing too hard

“Behold, I am the Lord, The God of all flesh. Is there anything, Is there anything too hard for Me?” Is there anything, anything, anything…too hard for Me? Oh, is there anything, is there anything, too hard for Me?

Rest

rest

September 4, 2019

I am tired. I have been up since about 5:30am, studying, going up and down, taking care of business, going to class, coming home, studying some more. It is now 11:28pm and I don’t even know what I have accomplished today. I’m still about 10 lectures behind. I have to do all these things before the weekend. Multiple assessments are coming up. I. AM. TIRED. I feel overwhelmed.  I am streeessseeeddd!

My Music Playlists

Music plays a BIG part in my daily reminders. Songs have the power to speak to you, affect your thinking and can even determine how to feel. Even when you are not listening to a certain song, it has the ability to play in your heart at certain times. Becuase of this, I have come to be very particular with the types of songs I listen to. I mentioned in my About Me list that I listen to all genres of Gospel music; songs that glorify God, and edify my spirit, body and soul. I love my fast afrobeat type, rap type songs but I also love the smooth R&B type, soul type music and God has blessed people with the talent to come up with songs that fit into these categories and still give glory to His name.

Reminders In Pictures

Every failure Every setback Every blow ● Every obstacle Every loss Every plateau ● Every trial Every heavy load Every no ● We may not understand but He controls it all… keep loving and trusting Him cos everything’s gon be alright. It’s all good.
It always does… for those who LOVE God and are called according to His purpose. Be encouraged that whatever you are worrying about right now will work out because God is on your side and He has promised. Be blessed. Song reminder: Lo-Fi – Clarity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=545vbha_95Q
Another week, another hustle. If you’re reading this, I ask that you just take a deep breath, close your eyes if you want to and be still in God’s presence for a few seconds or minutes. You don’t have to say a word; He knows. You may ask Him in your heart to just saturate your atmosphere. From your heart, straight to His ears, allow Him to take charge over your week. Anytime you feel overwhelmed this week, just take a quick moment to pause and be still in His presence. He is working. He is working. He is working.
Aight, cool, cool, cool
A WINNER’S MINDSET.

Life can present with various battles but remember that you are a warrior. When it feels like you can’t overcome that obstacle, remember that in the presence of the Lord, you have already won. Now, you have to have the mindset of victory. Believe it, have faith in yourself and the power of God and stand firm.

Stay blessed and highly favored.
Even when it’s dark… Even when it’s stormy… Even when it hurts… Even when you feel weak… Even wehn you don’t understand… Remind yourself that no matter what, I’m faithing it until I make it. Hold on to your faith. For He who promised is faithful. Let’s keep on pushing.
Sometimes we act surprised when God comes through for us. I’m guilty of this myself. But God always COMES THROUGH. If you’re with God, and God with you, know that anyone or anything that tries to get in your way has already lost. Has He said and will He not do?

Song reminder: Y’all listen to this fire song “For Me” by @limoblaze_ which came out at the right time to remind me of exactly what I’m talking about in this post.
This is how I talk to myself.
Accept that challenge.
Take that first step.
If it doesn’t work out, you learn and you get better.
If it works out, you learn and you get better.
Your comfort zone may be the difference between where you are now and where you want to be.

God reminded me of this a couple of years ago and I began to listen and say yes to things that I never imagined myself doing (things according to His will of course). As a result, I’ve had many encounters, experiences and opportunities in my life that have helped me grow and be better.
Do you have a growth mindset?

This holiday season, if you live for people’s acceptance, you’ll die from their rejection.

This year, if you live for people’s acceptance, you’ll die from their rejection.

This life, if you live for people’s acceptance, you’ll die from their rejection.
This week, God’s been reminding me of grace and what it means. This is how I can best describe grace. Like He knows you’re going to break His heart and yet, with outstretched arms, with no regrets, He still provides. That is grace. That is love. That is God.

#grace
Being patient can be quiet difficult. The wait (for anything) can be frustrating, anxiety provoking, annoying etc. But God has instructed us not to be anxious about anything (Philippians 4:6) and to be patient during times of tribulation (Romans 12:12). He has promised us that in due season, we will reap (Galatians 6:9). This is a reminder that even when you don’t feel like God’s working, He’s still working and moving and working things out for your good. So if you’re feeling impatient (in any situation), take a deep breath, keep doing your best and remind yourself that your ripe fruit is coming your way.
• Don’t limit the POWER of God.
• Don’t limit the PLAN of God.
• Don’t limit the PROVISION of God.
• Don’t limit the PROTECTION of God.
• Don’t limit the PEACE of God.
• Don’t limit the PERFECTION of God.
For man has limitations but the God I serve is an unlimited God. With man, there are impossibilities but with God, All. Things. Are. Possible!
Matthew 19:26
Happy Monday!
CONFESSION: I was supposed to make this post sometime last week. I had it all ready but then the enemy whispered “no one cares about your posts. They’re just going to see it and not care. Besides, you already posted about prayer so why do it again? ” … so I didn’t post. As a matter of fact, I didn’t post any reminders last week, not because I didn’t have anything to post but because of the discouragement from the enemy. That’s how he comes in and convinces you that what you have been called to do is not worth it, that you’re not worth it, and that no one cares but it’s ALL LIES. All this to say, that you indeed have the power to overcome the lies of the enemy and it really is through prayer. Not by your strength or your power but by the power of Jesus Christ. This post was true last week and is still true today. Ok, got that off my chest. Happy Wednesday, keep pushing!
Constant reminder… because I CANNOT do it on my own. God has promised to help out His children so the question is why are you struggling doing it on your own? Oh taste and see, taste and see, taste and see that my good God is a good God. Whatever your “it” is, allow God into it and you’ll see the transformation. Taste and see.
Just in case, you needed this reminder. There are so many scriptures in the Bible that remind me of this statement. One of these scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11. Which scriptures or stories in the Bible remind you that God has already taken care of any situation? Think of them and be encouraged today!
praying in difficult times
Remember that when the giants that seem impossibile to knock down, or the mountains that seem impossible to climb, or the hurdles that seem impossible to jump over, come your way, it’s not the time to wallow in the situation. It’s the time press on oeven more in PRAYER. Not only does it confuse the enemy, but it also encourages you. You receive peace in your heart and mind. This is what the Wod of God promises us. Phillippians 4:6-7
God's reminders
The devil will remind you of your past mistakes but God will remind you about His Grace.
The devil will remind you of your past failures but God will remind you of your future victories.
The devil will constantly remind you of your long to do list and that you are too busy to spend time with God but God will remind you that you need to spend some time with Him so that He can feed into you and fill you up.
Who are you choosing to listen to today?
Happy Wednesday! Keep pushing.

Beautiful Feet

How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
    who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
Isaiah 52:7

I did not want to do this. In fact, I was avoiding this task by all means possible. This opportunity came to me some time in December when the director of SMI, Holly mentioned to a few group of students at my school about the opportunity to perform health screens and share the Gospel with the people in Philadelphia. Initially, I thought this was great and I would not mind doing that at all. Afterall, I have always wanted to integrate my faith with medicine.
